To compile the 2021 Top Dentists list, Northern Virginia Magazine sent surveys to over 2,000 Northern Virginia dentists across seven specialties and asked them to recommend other dentists to whom they would refer friends and family. Those on the list received the most nominations from their peers and were vetted by the magazine’s in-house research team to make sure they are in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
